We had an amazing stay at this family-friendly resort, which offered great value for money. The resort is clean and well-maintained, perfect for families wanting to relax and enjoy time together. While the rooms were adequate, they could use some modernization. The pool area was a highlight, though sometimes crowded. Overall, we would definitely return, especially due to the friendly and attentive staff who made our stay enjoyable.

Cedar Lakes Resort offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of the Gold Coast while still being conveniently close to shops and the beach. The units are clean and comfortable, packed with a variety of family-friendly amenities. However, the lounges need updating and the dining options might require some planning due to variable hours.

I had a wonderful time at the resort, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and plenty of activities for the family. The accommodations were comfortable and clean, making it a suitable spot for a relaxing getaway. However, be prepared for some noise from neighboring units if families with children are around. Also, the dining options are quite limited, as the bistro is only open for dinner.

I had a lovely time at this family-friendly resort tucked away in the hinterland. The pool area was fantastic, and the accommodations were clean and comfortable, though a bit basic. The location provided stunning views and a peaceful ambiance, but the dining options were somewhat limited as the bistro only opened for dinner and not for breakfast. Overall, it was great value for money, ideal for families looking to unwind.

Rooms

The accommodations were clean and comfortable, featuring basic kitchen facilities and cozy bedding, although the fold-out beds were not the best option.

Location

Nestled in a beautiful area with a lake view, the location was serene and perfect for wildlife spotting, though you need a car to get to nearby supermarkets and attractions.
Dining

Dining options were limited to an evening bistro, which would have been nice to have for breakfast or light lunch as well.

Cedar Lake Country Resort offers a truly picturesque setting with a relaxed atmosphere perfect for families. The units are neat and spacious, with beautiful views and plenty of wildlife to enjoy. Although we faced a significant power outage during our stay, the staff handled the situation well. The location is convenient for those wanting to explore the Gold Coast's attractions, but be prepared to budget for a car rental. Overall, it’s a quiet getaway, though there may not be enough activities onsite to entertain older kids.

Rooms

Our timeshare unit was well-equipped with two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a full kitchen, making it comfortable for our family. The views from the unit were stunning, especially early in the morning when the birds were most active.
Service
7.0
Despite the weather challenges, the staff remained composed and helpful throughout our stay, particularly during the power outage. They brought in a generator and battery-operated lights promptly.
Location
8.0
The resort is well-located for visiting nearby theme parks and Gold Coast beaches, although a car is necessary for convenience.
Dining
7.0
The onsite restaurant served delicious food, and the staff handled the unexpected situation during the power outage with great service, even managing to provide snacks for kids.
Facilities
6.0
The resort has a lovely outdoor heated pool and multiple activities available temporarily, such as tennis and walking trails, but lacking entertainment for older children may be a downside.
